Department of Pharmaceutics

The department was established in 2008 since then it has become involved in the academic process at the College of Pharmacy.
The department has 9 faculty members including one PhD, 5 assistant lecturers in addition it has got 2 MSc students from our University members and hosting 2 students from the department of Health of Sulaimani.


Our vision can be summarised in 2 points;
Development in the manufacturing, control and the regulation of medicinal products in the region and globally.
Making our department to be recognised in the country and the Middle East region as a leader in the pharmaceutical education along with research in different pharmaceutical fields.

Training the students to be qualified pharmacists and capable of practicing in different areas of pharmaceutical career.
Training the graduate students for being researchers and academics in the future.
Contributing in the advancement in the pharmaceutical sciences.
