In an insightful session today, Dr. Tavga led a comprehensive seminar at the seminar hall of the College of Pharmacy. The focus of the seminar was on elucidating the guidelines and policies governing the graduation projects in the college of pharmacy.
This seminar, attended by faculty members, served as a valuable platform to address critical aspects of the graduation projects. Dr. Tavga, provided key insights and clarified doubts, ensuring a thorough understanding of the procedures.
Such seminars play a pivotal role in equipping students with the knowledge and resources essential for successful project completion.

Today, the College of Pharmacy hosted an intriguing seminar titled “The Story of My Thesis: Design, Synthesis and Evaluation of Heterocyclic Compounds with Potential Antimicrobial Activity.” Dr. Necherwan Taimoor Abdulrahman conducted the seminar, which was attended by students and academic staff members.
During the presentation, Dr. Necherwan shared insights from his Master’s research, which focused on designing, synthesizing, and evaluating heterocyclic compounds that exhibit promising antimicrobial properties. He discussed the motivations behind the research, the challenges faced, and the innovative approaches employed to overcome them.
The seminar provided a platform for knowledge sharing and fostered fruitful discussions among the attendees. Participants gained valuable insights into the intricacies of medicinal chemistry research and the potential applications of heterocyclic compounds in the fight against infectious diseases.

On April 29th, Mr. Bahroz Salar Hama Salim, Director of Sulaimani Kindergartens, received an award at the College of Pharmacy of Sulaimani University. The award was presented to him by the College’s dean, Prof. Dr. Tawana Mohsen Saleh, in recognition of his ongoing cooperation and support. Our college is being offered the opportunity to enhance the greenery of our grounds by receiving donations of trees and flowers, which will contribute to further beautifying the campus.
